The role in a nutshell


As part of Heka’s BDR Team (Business Development Representative), you are one of the faces of the business. You’re at the heart of communicating who we are, what we do, and why businesses should explore Heka. You’ll lead in creating new outbound opportunities and ideas for how Heka’s client base can grow. You’ll work closely with our BDR, Head of Sales and Co-Founder to generate pipeline and ensure Heka’s on the top of people’s minds when reviewing benefits.

The role in action:

- Your main focus will be pipeline generation. This is for you to take ownership of and find the best channels for you. Whether it’s calling, emailing, networking, referrals, events, LinkedIn - if it works for you, go for it! (We value testing different channels and then using data to double down on what’s most successful)

- Be proactive with building a strong network and relationships with potential prospects

- Have a deep understanding of prospects challenges & gains

- Update and manage your leads in our CRM (Hubspot)

- Work in collaboration with our Head of Sales to develop new / untapped opportunities

- Collaborate with the Marketing team for any value-add materials that will support you in your role

- Opportunity to close deals on smaller opportunities - growing over time with training when you succeed

Salary

£30,000 - £34,000

+ Monthly paid commission structure: Set amount of commission for meetings booked, plus an uncapped commission on Closed Won deals on opportunities you create that the Sales Team closes.

The role in a nutshell

We are looking for a proactive and driven Founder’s Associate to work directly with our CEO, assisting in driving key sales deals and strategic initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to get hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment and gain exposure to a wide variety of business functions.

Core responsibilities

Some of the core responsibilities of the role are listed below, but as a start up you will need to have flexibility to adapt as we grow as a business. 

  • Work closely with the CEO to support sales efforts, including researching and identifying key decision-makers at target companies.
  • Draft emails, communication, and presentations for outreach to potential clients and partners.
  • Assist in managing and understanding the sales deal process, ensuring that deadlines and tasks are met.
  • Help with day-to-day tasks as needed to keep the business running smoothly.
  • Other ad-hoc areas that come up, often requiring a fast turnaround.
