Introducing Nadia Modla, Customer Success Executive at Heka

A quick summary:

At Heka, we’re all about empowering organisations and employees to thrive through health-led benefits that make a real difference. We know that healthier teams are more productive, and that’s why we’re dedicated to offering tools and support that prioritise health and wellbeing. Our vision is to create a world where every employee feels empowered to take care of their health- whether that’s physical, mental, or emotional- and has the resources they need to succeed not just at work, but in life too. None of this would be possible without the amazing people who make it all happen. We believe in building a positive, inclusive culture where innovation and teamwork are key and are committed to creating a workplace where everyone can grow and succeed. Our team members are much more than just employees; they’re at the heart of Heka.

We’re excited to introduce you to the incredible people who make Heka what it is. Each team member brings something special to the table, helping us make a real impact. In this blog, we’re spotlighting Nadia Modla, our passionate Customer Success Executive, who plays a big role in supporting our clients and ensuring they get the most out of Heka.

What’s your role at Heka?

As Heka's Customer Success Executive, I have the pleasure of: onboarding new clients and their employees to the Heka platform, ensuring Account Owners are well-supported, providing insights into their team's Health & Wellbeing bookings to help them focus their efforts effectively, and addressing any customer enquiries about the platform or their orders to ensure everything runs smoothly.

What excites you most about your role?

I absolutely love catching up with Account Owners—there’s nothing better than building rapport, having a good chat, and sharing some insightful usage stats!

What’s the biggest challenge?

The biggest challenge for me is managing my time! I've always been in Sales but being organised and making sure I'm prepared for any upcoming calls, and renewals is new for me. Trello is my bestie when I have busy weeks!

Where do you see the future of employee wellbeing?

The future of wellbeing has to prioritise the needs of employees, both in and outside the workplace. Too many companies offer one-size-fits-all benefits that seem more about ticking boxes than making a real difference in employees' mental and physical health. Employees are no longer blind to this, and if they feel their Wellbeing platform isn't making a tangible impact, they’ll question how much their employer truly cares- and they know they can always look elsewhere! With the growing demand for flexible working, employers now have to create not just a healthy work environment, but also find ways to support employees in living their best lives outside of work- without overstepping, which is no easy feat. In short, the future of Wellbeing is Heka- personalised, flexible benefits that meet the needs of every employee, at any stage of life.

What is your favourite Heka benefit?

Tough question! I use my wellbeing allowance on different things each month to improve in various areas of Health & Wellbeing. As a big over-thinker with a million thoughts constantly running through my mind, I love using my Scentered products to help ground myself and create a sense of calm. My Fitbit has also motivated me to earn those sweet treats and get into swimming, which has led me to work from a local café two days a week. If you work remotely, you know how easy it is to say you'll work from different spots, but that magical snooze button often gets in the way. Working outside of home helps reduce anxiety, keeps me active with daily steps, and provides that much-needed social interaction for my mental health.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I have a few slightly unconventional hobbies! My heritage is Ukrainian, so I’ve been doing traditional Ukrainian dancing since I was 4. I’m also a big language lover- I speak some French, Italian, and Polish (though I really need to dedicate more time to this in 2025). On top of that, I’m hooked on chess and currently sitting at a 1350 ELO (hit me up for a game before it inevitably drops!).
